SOLD US WW2 RE-ISSUE 1903 ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL RIFLE… ELMER KIETH OGDEN ARSENAL REBUILD

In excellent Arsenal rebuilt condition with a mint bore, we Have a Rock Island Arsenal manufactured M1903 Springfield Rifle that was rebuilt at the Ogden Utah Arsenal and inspected by none other than Elmer Kieth.  This is a great example of a typical wartime overhaul of a 1903 rifle, it was probably stored after than and never issued.  It is believed to have been sold through the DCM at some point.  This rifle would make a good entry level collector or a great shooter.  There were never enough Garands and these rifles were in continuous service right through the end of WW2.  Because of who he was Elmer Kieth inspected rifles are desirable.
