SOLD SCARCE EARLY PRODUCTION 1942 PRE LETTER BLOCK cyq SPREEWERK P.38 PISTOL…….MINT FULL RIG!!

In 98% mint crisp condition, we have a very scarce very late 1942 production Pre letter block cyq coded Spreewerk manufactured P.38 Pistol.  This pistol is fully rigged out and brought back exactly as you see it, with a mint, really sharp looking 1943 ewx (Karl Vogels, Koln) coded holster and both early “e/88” magazines.  The pistol is all matching with a mint bore and displays some of the “not quite right features” you see on these early Spreewerk made pistols such as the very long muzzle band on the barrel.  While arguably the third wheel in P.38 production behind Walther and Mauser, Spreewerk was actually the second firm to manufacture the P.38 a few months before Mauser got its act together.  These early pistols are extremely scarce and rarely seen this nice and complete; this is an important P.38 for any serious P.38 or cyq collector to own
