In mint condition, all matching except for the dust cover we have an exceptional example of a very late almost final production Kokura made Type 44 Carbine. Of course the Mum is intact and unblemished and the bore is mint. The stock is very sharp with clear cartouches. As you would expect with such a late production carbine this used the third type of bayonet mounting, which greatly improved the accuracy of the firearm. You will be hard pressed to find a finer example than this rifle. The Type 44 Carbine was the standard shoulder arm of the Japanese Cavalry. Most were used in China and they saw many years of hard rough service so they are not easy to find this sharp and almost un-issued. If you need an example for your collection you will love this one.
