SOLD “THE UNICORN” 1939 P.38 HOLSTER……..WALTHER 1ST VAR. ZERO SERIES P.38 PISTOL…….HIDDEN EXTRACTOR……CAPTURE PAPERS…….VERY SHARP!

This is the most important P.38 rig that we have had in the office.  The Pistol is fantastically rare but the holster is almost almost unheard of, some say it does not even exist.  In 96% condition, still with the original Bring back Paper, We have a Walther First Variation Zero Series P.38 Pistol, with an almost unique 1939 dated  Albert Fischer, Berlin Made Hardshell P.38 holster.  Both the Pistol and the Holster can considered to be pre-production experimental trials pieces.  1,000 of these rare pistols were made, how many survived the war this intact and are here in the states? almost none…..The holster is even rarer! Few collectors have even seen one.  It clearly is made very much like the Luger holster but there are differences that are taken to full length in the final version that we are all familiar with.  The pistol is all matching (except the magazines)  and the bore is very decent but not mint, the pictures which are a photographic study tell the story of this Pistol, how is was made and you can tell that it was very much a work in progress.  Simply put this is the most important regular production P.38 pistol that one could have in there collection, and few of even the most serious P.38 Collectors will ever even own.  This is a collection crowning P.38 rig.
