SOLD VERY SCARCE SAUER BEHOERDEN PISTOL…MINT CRISP!

This is a mint sharp example of a very rare and seldom ever seen Sauer Behoerden (Authorities model) Pistol.  This was the last design upgrade of the old style Sauer .32 and it was specifically designed for Nazi Police issue and they were almost exclusively sold to various government security forces.  According to Jim Cate, this serial number is in the known range of pistols issued to the Riechs Bahn Dienst or Railway Security Force.  The most notable feature on this pistol is the trigger safety, which helps to prevent accidental discharge.  These pistols are exquisitely made and finished and are of a very small size and extremely ergonomic.  Very few were produced as the very innovative Modell 38 would soon replace it.  Today, these pistols are seldom seen and never this crisp and is a real find for the Police or Sauer pistol collector.
